The new Scirocco has the lot: style, performance, dynamics and practicality, all at a very reasonable price. FOR NEARLY 15 years now, VW enthusiasts have been clamouring for a replacement for the Scirocco, the Golf-based coupe which ceased production in 1993, and its successor, the Corrado, which ran from 1989 to 1996. Both cars offered a more stylish and dynamic alternative to the hatchback Golf and proved very popular, especially here in the UK where the concept of a two-door four-seater coupe seems to have a particularly strong following.
