Survey Says... Animals and Responsibilities Contribute to Job Satisfaction

Veterinary technicians who have the most responsibility and the most contact with patients reported higher levels of job satisfaction, according to a survey conducted by MediMedia Research. The email survey of VETERINARY TECHNICIAN readers found thattechnicians who were very satisfied with their current position also tended to earn a higher hourly wage than those who were not satisfied, but money played a smaller part than other key factors in the amount of satisfaction derived from a career in veterinary technology.
