Appetite for Chinese billet returns

Billet prices to Turkish consumers started moving in different directions in lateOctober. CIS suppliers and the domestic supplier raised offer prices following aU-turn in scrap quotes, while prices for the Chinese material continued to movedown. As a result, in late November CIS billet has settled at $285?290/t CFR(up $10/t from October levels), domestic prices are at $310?320/t EXW, and theChinese material is available at $265/t CFR (down $5/t).
