摘要

Lowering the heating rate will reduce the size and rate of irreversible changes in carbonaceous material at temperatures higher than 1400 deg C. Using an inhibiting additive, while simultaneously reducing the charge size, intensifies this process. The obtained results make it possible to propose that, by slowing down the heating rate, the depression of irreversible linear changes will be identical to the effect of inhibiting additives. Inhibiting the swelling of specimens, at temperatures higher than 1400 deg C, with iron oxide and by reducing the heating rate will alter the nature of pore distribution by size by reducing the content of pores < 1 mu m in size in the material.
