Computational Fluid Dynamics via Web-Browser

Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation or in short 'CFD' has not yet become a standard tool in the development-process of valves and pumps in many design departments. Several entry barriers prohibit that the use of simulation-technology becomes more common - especially in small and medium-size companies. The Munich-based start-up SimScale shows with its new simulation solution how new technologies may change this situation: The SimScale platform is a web-application that provides an efficient on-demand access to CFD capacity and thereby makes engineering simulation more affordable for a broader range of users.
