Oral cancer in patients after hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation: long-term follow-up suggests an increased risk for recurrence.

Patients after hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (HSCT) are at a higher risk for oral cancer (1). There is sparse information about this patient population because most of the publications were case reports (2-8). In addition, most of these reports mainly describe the diagnosis and early period after HSCT treatment. Thus, there are insufficient data about the long-term treatment outcomes.
