Making better regulation simple

Tackling bureaucracy in government by creating another organisation to tackle bureaucracy does not sound like common sense or value for money. It is this point that often gets made to me when people want to talk about the Better Regulation Executive and the Local Better Regulation Office. Many people are not sure exactly what the difference is, what both organisations were set up to do and, more importantly, how it will affect them.
