Germany/China - Representing a total investment of more than EUR40m*, Europe's largest trailer builder, Schmitz Cargobull AG has invested in a new roll-forming chassis rail production system - consisting of two productions lines in a new hall in Altenberge, Germany, and one at its new joint venture facility in Wuhan, China - that is set to revolutionise its trailer manufacturing process and take it closer still to a fully non-welded trailer.
