The latest market trend data from global tyremakers Pirelli and Michelin suggests the worldwide tyre market showed significant signs of recovery in April 2010 after two of the most difficult years in the business' recent history. Market watchers began [optimistically] to see "green shoots" of recovery in sectors such as construction tyres as much as a year ago. However with both Pirelli and Michelin now agreeing that European OE and replacement markets are anywhere between 10 and 20 per cent up year-on-year respectively, this "speculation" appears to have become a reality.
