People heading to the capital to spectate at this summer's Olympic and Paralympic Games should plan their travel arrangements carefully and avoid certain hotspots at busy times, according to Transport for London. Its director of games Mark Evers told Transportation Professional that his organisation is "on track" to be ready for the sporting spectacle, but cautioned that "it would be wrong to say that there is not more work left to do" between now and the Games. "In terms of infrastructure and providing more capacity (on the network) we are more or less 99% there," he said. "We are confident that we have produced all of the information for individuals and also to businesses, so they understand how their travel may be affected during the Games." The push now, Mr Evers added, is to get people to look at the 'Get Ahead of the Games' website for advice so as to not get caught out.
