Enforcement of average speed on the A14 in Cambridgeshire has achieved remarkable results for road safety, but lives are being threatened by the spectre of funding cuts. Motorists may want to avoid using the A14 in Cambridgeshire altogether in future. This is a stretch of road which has had historical safety problems much reduced in recent years, but a greatly improved record of accident statistics is under threat.
