Lessons learned from a range of industry disciplines including railways and water are helping Mott MacDonald to improve on its design and delivery capabilities in highways, with an eye to the future. The consultant is seeking opportunities to transfer good ideas from the water sector, such as design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA), to add value and reduce duplicated efforts associated with the building of engineering structures in a highway environment.
