Most big fishing trips to the Northern Territory involve months of planning and heaps of organising to become a reality, but mine didn't. One night 1 got a call from a mate inviting me to join him and his brothers for a fishing trip to Borraloola. They were towing a 5m Horizon centre console by road and there was a spare seat Was I interested? You bet I was! I had a month to organise work commitments, get my gear together and travel to the meeting point in southern Queensland. No problem. I had nothing else on my plate and while fishing with five brothers was sure to have its moments I knew them well and they were all good blokes. It took 42 hours of travelling to get up north and as promised, everything was organised.
