Companion Aquacube portable shower

Even the tropics are cold at night and when the southeast trade winds blow across the Cape York Peninsula, a cold shower can be a shivering experience. In the past we have had warm showers by heating 5-litre buckets of water on a campfire and pouringit into one of those canvas bush showers bags hung from a convenient tree branch. Later, this evolved by showering with a submersible 12V pump and shower head from a bucket.We also used Oztrail 20-litre solar bags that were laid on bare earth in the sun to warm the water to almost boiling point. They work very well if there is plenty of sunshine. Hung from a tree branch they do the job, though due to the lack of temperaturecontrol the water is often too hot. It can be cooled down with cold water and put in a 20-litre canvas shower bag. Alternately, there was the plunge bath by jumping in the shallows, getting wet and out, soaping up and back in. But, again it could be a bit of a shock on cooler days.
