Don't let the name fool you. Baffle Creek, just up the road from Bundaberg is the biggest creek you'll ever see in this country. The Baffle is massive. Its tidal reach extends 35km all the way to Essendean Bridge, making it bigger than any other estuary in south-east Queensland.At its widest point, Baffle Creek spans some two kilometres and offers a diverse range of fishing options, albeit the most sought-after of which is mangrove jack.
