At the SCAA Conference last year, I said that SCAA needed to evolve as a result of the changes the industry has seen over the past 10 years. SCAA Constitution What we needed to do is define what SCAA's role is in this new reality and then develop a roadmap to get us there. Part of that roadmap was to simplify our Constitution to allow us to act faster to changing circumstances. This was an existing project when I took over the reins last year but it was moving at a slower pace than what we required. Starting at the November 2015 Council meeting, it was given priority, and as you are aware, the referendum voting period to change the Constitution has ended.
