MASSEY HARVESTERS: THE CHRONICLE

In Australia, the full acquisition of H V McKay by M-H-F gave them the current range of Sunshine harvesters. These were pull type machines in the form of the Power Drive Stripper Harvester, the No. 6 Power Drive Header and the No. 508 Header. The No. 6 could be had with 30, 38 or 123 bushel grain tanks whilst the No. 508 only had a 30 bushel tank. Both these were available as bagger or rice models for which they were equipped with peg drums. The No. 508 could be had with an auxiliary 17.5hp Austin Newage engine instead of power take-off.
