NDRC Strengthens Supervisions on Soda Ash Sector

In order to strengthen macro-control of soda ash sector,avoid blind expansion of its production capacity and actualize the rational and harmonious development of the sector,the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC)recently held the 2005 symposium for the development of soda ash industry.It is disclosed that presently China's soda ash industry is facing a new round of upsurge of investment and construction.A group of new projects has started construction one after another.The production capacity is growing rapidly,creating more intensive competition for already saturated market,and therefore narrowing the margin.
