Aesthetic product finishing by diffusion bonding in softer way

摘要

The authors in this paper has highlightedthe aspect of functional product finishing, byapplication of metallic barrier layers. Hardnessresistance to corrosion, erosion and heat are some ofthese functional parameters which maybe obtained alongwith the aesthetic appeal of these barrier layers. Theselayers have weak bonding with the substrate and lie atthe interface between the diffusional and non-dffusional type of coatings.
