CHINA: Jinan Yuxing Ordered to Improve TiO_2 Plant Effluent Control

摘要

Jinan Yuxing General Chemical Works,a State-owned enterprise,has been ordered by the State environmental authorities to cease polluting the Xiaoqing River with chromium-containing effluent from its 25,000 t.p.a.sulfate-route TiO_2 pigment plant at Jinan-Tianqiao in the mid-northern province of Shandong province.The deadline for complying with the order is 30 June 2006.
