CLEVELAND 2016: Opening Plenary Session

Mr Michael Hochschwender (CEO & President, Smithers Group Inc.) formally opened the proceedings at 08:15 on the morning of Wednesday 5 October. He noted that this is now an annual event, probably unique in scope, bringing together business executives and scientists from all the links in the pigment value-chain. He also commented on the importance of sustainable development, assuring care for our shared environment, our natural resources and our personal and communal health and safety.
