CHINA: Jiangxi Tikon Opens 100,000 t.p.a. Pigment Plant, with Spent Acid Recycling

Jiangxi Tikon, formerly known as Jiangxi Tianguang Chemical, brought on-stream its 100,000 tp.a. sulfate-route TiO2 pigment plant last October, less than 28 months after commencing construction work. Jiangxi Tikon becomes the sixth TiO2 producer in the country, with a capacity of 100,000 t.p.a. or more, rivalling Shandong Dongjia, Sichuan Lomon, Henan Billions, the China National Bluestar group and the Pangang group.
