CHINA: Ningbo Xinfu Considers Expansion

According to some information sources, Ningbo Xinfu is a Sino-US joint venture, but the identities of the major shareholders have not been disclosed. The company was founded in 2000 and it currently employs 900 people. The new 40,000 t.p.a. line was designed for making exclusively rutile grades of TiO2, notably NTR-606 and NTR-616, which are mainly marketed for applications in paint and plastics.
