AUSTRALIA: Gunson Completes Definitive Feasibility Study for Coburn Project

On 7 January 2010, Gunson Resources Ltd. (of West Perth) released its long-awaited definitive feasibility study for the Coburn mineral sands project (near Denham, 250 km north of Geraldton in Western Australia, and immediately south of Shark Bay).The study is based- on a mining rate of 17.5 million t.p.a. of ore over a minelife of 23.5 years. Target production rates are: 40,000 t.p.a. of zircon; 90,000 t.p.a. of ilmenite (containing 61% TiO2): 9000 t.p.a. of rutile; and 7000 t.p.a. of leucoxene (containing 90% TiO2)
