摘要

We here describe the identification of a new allele HLA-A*240211, which has been found in a Korean individual. The typing result was obtained from the most effective routine high resolution sequence-based typing as the standard of HLA typing. Cycle sequencing of HLA-A exon 2 and exon 3 including intron 1 and intron 3 was performed following specific amplification using locus-specific primers. We also used group-specific sequencing primers to clarify the novel allele sequence. The amplified PCR product are sequenced using a 3730XL DNA Analyzer (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA), and sequencing reaction was p-erformed using the BigDye?Terminator v3.1 Cycle Sequencing Ready Reaction Kit (Applied Biosystems). The sequence was analyzed as described in the previous report (1).
