The new Agilon performance silica from PPG is a patented technology platform that overcomes the manufacturing limitations associated with the current conventional highly dispersible silica (HDS)/ in-situ silane technology. It enables further expansion of the tire 'magic triangle' and reduces volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions for a more environmentally responsible manufacturing process.
