Coast-down rolling resistance and cleated wheel test machines

摘要

Standards Testing Laboratories has developed new offerings for the tire and wheel industry,including the installation of a machine to test coast-down rolling resistance to SAE J2452.This test method is applicable to passenger and light truck tires.While previous methods tested tires operating at a constant speed,this method incorporates changes in speed,and measures their influences on rolling resistance at velocities ranging from 115km/h to 15km/h (71mph to 9mph).
