Exports Of Australian Iron Ore From Other Ports In First Half 2004

Results of exports from Australia in the first half of 2004 compiled by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) demonstrate that iron ore exports from Geraldton on the west coast of Western Australia, Port Latta in Tasmania, and Whyalla in South Australia were 380 thousand tons (KT) (up by the same amount from zero in the previous corresponding period), 430 Kt (down by 25.9 percent) and 350 Kt (doubled), respectively.
