Stainless Steel Scrap Is Exported From East Asian Region To Western Europe For Its Tight Supply

Reflecting the facts that the supply situation of nickel-based stainless steel scrap in Western Europe has tightened and price of this scrap has risen to an attractive level for sellers, nickel-based stainless steel scrap generated in East Asian region, including Japan, is starting to flow to Western Europe. A major trading company is now preparing to ship 100 tons of stainless steel scrap generated in East Asian region and packed in containers in August. In addition, other trading companies are studying a possibility to export stainless steel scrap from Japan.
