Canadian Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd. (CLM) announced June 6 it has agreed with Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc. (CLF) and Stelco Inc. to acquire a 71.4 percent interest in the Wabush Mines joint venture for a purchase price of 64.3 million US dollars plus 3.0 million common share purchase warrants.
