Tariff, Imposing Duty On Export Of Chinese Chrome Metal, Has Loophole

While the Central Government of China already announced their having set up the duty of 15 percent to be imposed on export of Chinese chrome metal, effective from the 1st November of 2006, there are three kinds of code numbers for chrome metal and the objective code number for the duty of 15 percent to be imposed on export of chrome metal from China is 811221-000 ( chrome ingot and powder ) of HS code and other code numbers are not applied to the duty of 15 percent. Consequently, a confusion of the application has arisen in China.
