JFE Steel To Supply 11,000 Tons Heavy Plates For Oil Tanks In China

JFE Steel Corp has won a contract with China Petroleum & Chemical Corp (Sinopec) via NKK Trading Inc to supply 11,000 tons of heavy plates for storage tanks under China's national project to stockpile crude oil in selected locations for strategic purposes. The contract calls for the product with a high tensile strength of 60kg/mm~2. There are provisions for shipments in October 2004-March 2005.
