China Produced 570,000 Tons Of Electrolytic Manganese Metal In CY 2005

It was known recently that China produced 569,900 tons of electrolytic manganese metal in the calender year (January - December) of 2005 and has the capacity to produce 1,118,000 tons per annum of this metal. A number of the companies to produce electrolytic manganese metal has reached 156. The above data were released by the representative of Central Iron & Steel Research Institute of China at The 3rd Ferro-Alloys Conference held in April of this year at Beijing.
