Graphic Pkg Reports Increased Net Income

Graphic Packaging Holding Co. reports net income for the second quarter 2009 of $19.6 million. Adjusted net income for the quarter, which excludes $55.3 million of alternative fuel tax credits, net of expenses and $40.5 million of one-time, non-recurring charges primarily associated with the combination with Altivity Packaging, LLC, was $4.8 million. This compares to a second quarter 2008 net loss of $4.3 million and adjusted net income of $4.8 million.
