There was considerable growth in exportation in all categories of medical products in 2004.The export value of chemical medicines was USUS6.504 billion,with an increase of 22.88% over the previous year,and having a favorable balance of trade of USUS330 million.The export value of traditional Chinese medicines was USUS725 million,showing an increase of 17.6%,and the favorable balance of trade was nearly USUS500 million.
