Rhodia Completes Sale of Its Silicones Business to China's BlueStar

On February 1st,2007 Rhodia announced the finalization of the sale of its Silicones business to China National BlueStar (Group) Corporation (BlueStar).In addition,the Group sold Rhodia Or-ganics' Sulfuric Products activity to Adisseo that is acquired by BlueStar in January 2006 (CCR2006 No.3).This business generated sales of Euro 47 million in 2005 and has a total of 67 employees.It is based at Les Roches de Condrieu,in France.
