To Russia (and back) with horsepower

THE 'Vets with Horsepower' team of motorcycling equine veterinary surgeons has announced that it will be taking to the road again in 2014; travelling from the UK to St Petersburg and back again, delivering CPD in eight different venues on the way. Thetrip will be the fourth excursion for the team, which comprises senior academic and practising equine veterinary surgeons, who all have a particular enthusiasm for motorbikes. Each of their trips has raised funds for a range of charities, supporting both equine and human causes. The team delivers CPD and education lectures to veterinarians and horse owners in return for donations, and since 2010 has raised 280,000 for its chosen charities.
