A short drive down nearly any U.S. roadway is enough to glimpse the company's products, such as the exhaust systems on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Peterbilt and Kenworth 18-wheelers. The other company started out as a one-person shop that specialized in providing chrome-, silver-, and gold-plating services for all manner of house-wares: teapots, lamps, and so on.
