New laser handbook available

This month TPA introduces a new book, Using a CO_2 Laser in the Shop: A Handbook for Installation, Use, and Maintenance. Author David Marusa wrote the book for managers and operators seeking instruction in laser machining. In recent years the laser has emerged as an indispensable workhorse in many areas of metal fabricating. The CO_2 laser is particularly suited for cutting metal; it is fast, precise, and reliable. It also requires care, knowledge, and finesse to operate properly.
