Alfe plans to build heat-treating facility

Alfe Heat Treating Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., has announced plans to construct a 15,000-sq.-ft. heat-treating facility in Massena, N.Y. The plant is scheduled to begin operation during the second half of 2002. The company is building the plant as part of a contract it was awarded by General Motors. Alfe has ferrous and nonferrous facilities and serves customers in the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.
