The board of directors of Metform Intl., Mississauga, Ont., has appointed R.A. (Tony) Davies as chief operating officer. This appointment follows the recent buyout of the company by its management group. Davies has 25 years of industrial management experience with companies in Canada and the U.S. For nearly 15 years he was involved in the construction equipment industry, both in manufacturing and in marketing and distribution for a North American manufacturer.
