PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus of a mechanical cooking appliance is provided to increase the service life of a component by operating a cooling fan for appointed hours after finishing cooking. ;CONSTITUTION: A cooling apparatus of a mechanical cooking appliance includes a timer switch(3) controlling power supplied to a load driving unit(2) for the preset time in a timer for a microwave oven, a cooling fan motor(21) operating a cooling fan, and a fan motor switch(4) installed to one side of a cam inserted to a shaft of the timer for a microwave oven and rotated together. While a contact point projection of the fan motor switch is pressed to the vicinity of the cam, the cooling fan motor is supplied with power, and when the contact point projection is projected by a cam groove formed in the vicinity of the cam, the cooling fan motor is shut off the power supply.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
