New Projects Update Projects Investment:A Review of 2004

The highlight of the bygone year,2004,was the sustenance of economic momentum that was gathered in 2003.Industrial and economic revival was more than reflected in the buoyancy in projects investment.During 2004,a total of 3,718 new projects were announced involving a total investment of Rs.2,95,185 crore.This was nearly 4 per cent higher than the comparable level of 2003.
