Employee loyalty is defined as the extent to which the personnel are faithful to the organisation, having feelings of bonding, care responsibility and devotion towards it. A planter's loyalty is something which cannot be bought but is an intangible asset which needs to be earned through a mutual employee-employer understanding. Planters' loyalty in the plantation industry is a great concern and termed as "rolling stones who gather no moss" and were never looked up since the early days.
