Aspies' heroines

In the mid-1940s autism was first accurately described. In almost the same year a very unusualgroup of children was identified in Vienna. These children were later described as having Asperger's syndrome. Once again, many years passed and it began to be realised that Asperger'swas on a continuum with autism, thus comprising autistic spectrum disorders.
