A bit of both. When I finished my PhDstudies, I nearly abandoned researchentirely, thinking what I really wantedto do was become a full-time musician!I remember being offered my first job atthe Institute of Energy and SustainableDevelopment, De Montfort University.I didn't hesitate to accept, even thoughthere was also the offer of a socialpsychology lecturer post elsewhere.I have always been motivated to researchenvironmental issues from a psychologicalperspective, but in a particular way,focusing upon policy- and practice-relevantquestions. I don't have too much respectfor conventional disciplinary boundaries.
