POSCO to Conduct Large-scale Repair Works on Plate Mill II of Pohang Works in September

POSCO is scheduled to conduct large-scale facility repair works on its Plate Mill II of the Pohang Works for 10 days from September 4 through 13. Taking into consideration its daily output of 7,100 tons, based on annual production capacity of 2.4 million tons at its Plate Mill II, POSCO is expected to see a drop of about 70,000 tons in the output of plates during the planned facility repair works. The company is planning to supplement its heat-treatment facilities in particular during the facility repair works.
