POSCO's Pohang Works to Repair Plate Mill II till June 11

The Plate Mill II at Pohang Works, which has the largest annual production capacity of 2.58 million tons among the POSCO's plate mills, is producing plates with thickness in a range of 6-20 mm and with the maximum breadth of 4,500 mm. It is operating three units of reheating furnaces and each one unit of roughing mill and a finishing mill, and it is possible for the mill to produce TMCP steel using its multi-type cooling accelerator.
