Panel Makers'Severe Cutthroat Sales Competition Lowers EPS Panel Price

Severe cutthroat sales competition in the domestic market has dragged down the market price of expand able poly styrene (EPS) panels (based on 50mm in thickness) to the level of 8,500 won per sq. meter on average, extending a downward trend. But some panel makers are reportedly selling them even at 6,700 won per sq. meter. Industrial sources pointed out that there are a large volume of low-priced Chinese and Indian pre-painted steel sheets for use as materials for panels in the domestic market, which are causing the market prices of EPS panels to get further weaker.
