Improvement of profit structure with annual sales target at 2.87 trillion won Hyundai HYSCO has set annual sales target at 2.87 trillion won by increasing the combined annual production of cold-rolled steel sheets and steel pipes to 2.72 tons, up 13.7 percent this year from 2004. At an investor relationship conference held February 18, Hyundai HYSCO announced so and said the normalization of its Dangjin Plant will be made about one month earlier than its original target. Hyundai HYSCO explained on that day that its annual sales for 2004 posted 2.32 trillion won last year, up 22 percent from 2003. Sales of its cold-rolled steel products stood at 1.65 trillion won, accounting for 71.3 percent of the entire sales with a drop of 2 percent points from the preceding year's 73.3 percent. Its domestic sales totaled 1.62 trillion won last year, making up 69.9 percent of the entiresales, up 3.5 percent points from 66.4 percent in 2003.
